How it all came about
My journey started in Ticino, Switzerland …
I spent a lot of my childhood and early adulthood with my nose buried in a book. One of my favourite memories is of reading in the treehouse my father built in an old chestnut tree. Legs dangling, the breeze rustling the leaves. Bliss!
Unsurprisingly, I studied literature at Berne University. Upon completing my studies, I pursued a career in managing cultural institutions. I began in the library world before moving on to hold various leadership positions in the classical music industry. I was the deputy director of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra (ZKO) for many years. More recently, I co-founded and co-directed the LEAD! Foundation and Fiskars Festival, an organisation committed to supporting young and talented artists at the threshold of their professional careers in collaboration with Finnish conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste.

My coaching adventure started in Stockholm, Sweden…
A few years ago, a festival in Stockholm invited me to mentor and coach gifted young musicians. I felt privileged to listen and answer the queries the young people posed. What they said, however, was sobering. From stories of breakdowns and stage fright to practical questions about taking the first career steps, everyone had their own challenging journey.
What most of them had in common, however, was a loud and often debilitating inner critic, self-doubt and other self-sabotaging behaviours that stopped them from performing with confidence and joyfully pursuing their career and dreams.
Wanting to help and recognising the need for an in-depth education to better serve my clients, I studied with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI). Considered the gold standard of coaching, it is recognised as the industry’s most rigorous professional coach training and certification program.

Building relationships with saboteurs and creating meaningful paths for creative individuals
My experience working with young artists has given me valuable insights into managing perfectionism, self-doubt, career, and creativity. An insatiable reader and learner, I incorporate aspects of mindfulness, somatics, polyvagal theory, and neuroscience into my coaching practice to help my clients overcome barriers and build a strong foundation for a successful and confident life.
I work with artists, musicians and creatives at every stage of their journey, as well as entrepreneurs looking to enhance their creativity and success at work and successful professionals seeking a career change.
So I know, wherever you are in your journey, you can change your story!
Shall we start?
